"JOHNNY BULL MINE"
 Lordsburg, NM
Out Bound Travel -
DAY SIX
This was my second trip to the Johnny Bull Mine for turquoise, yellow calcite and micro-minerals.

The 9.2 mile dirt road to the
Johnny Bull Mine.

There are at least 6 old abandon turquoise mines
 in this part of
Hidalgo County, NM.
The Johnny Bull mine is one of the most accessible.

The two audits of the Johnny Bull turquoise mine.
Notice the tailing piles (turquoise) above the right audit and
the dry wash (calcite) to the left of the left audit.

"Not very good turquoise!"

Massive yellow calcite out-crops.

More of these Cactus were in bloom.
