It keeps you advised as to the Society's meetings, field trips, show reports, upcoming events, workshops, as well as, interesting tidbits and puzzles that keep you on your toes.

Advertising information in TIPS & TRIPS:

The Georgia Mineral Society bulletin, "Tips and Trips", accepts advertising. A business card size ad, approximately 2" x 3.5" or a one-quarter column, is $15 per month. Rates for larger ads are as follows:

1. one-half column, approximately 4" x 3.5", for $30/month,
2. three-quarter column, approximately 6" x 3.5", for $45/month,
3. full column, approximately 8" x 3.5", for $60/month,
4. full page, approximately 8" x 7", for $120/month.

The editor must have your advertisement, in hand, by the 10th of the month preceding the actual month that it will appear in Tips and Trips, and payment (a check is fine) must be submitted with the ad. You can e-mail the editor your ad at newsletter@gamineral.org and U.S. mail your payment or both to her home address to ensure that she gets it in time for publishing. The editor's home address is:
