There is no fee involved with collecting on this trip.  It's FREE!

· Summerville's Fossil Creeks, Summerville, S.C.
· Saturday December 4 , 1999
· Children welcome
· Sharks teeth and marine mammal and fish fossils.  Specimens are in museums and private collections throughout South Carolina.

Tools:  Collecting is done screening or walking in shallow water creeks and ditches using sharp eyes and a digging tool.  Either way, calf high or higher rubber boots or old tennis shoes/shorts a must.  Screening requires ¼" or ½" screen and full size pointed shovel. Walking calls for short handle metal rake, hoe, and/or garden tools.

Bring:  Extra pair shoes, socks, pants.

Security Precaution:  Because of a recent theft occurrence on one of our DMC field trips, 
PLEASE keep your vehicle locked at all times!  DMC
