    Field trips are open to all members of associated clubs of the DMC program of the SFMS Field Trip Committee and to all members of SFMS clubs who have provided their membership with SFMS (or Eastern Federation) liability insurance.  Because of insurance requirements, members of the GENERAL PUBLIC are NOT invited on this or any DMC program field trips!"  Only DMC program member societies may publish this information as one of their "official" scheduled field trips.   Please refer to our Field Trip Policies Page for additional rules.

How does my club join the D M C?

All you club has to do to join us is to make sure your society passes all of the DMC membership requirements, agree to all of the DMC field trip policies, and pick a future month and date to host your DMC field trip.  E-mail your intentions to join us along with a non conflicting field trip date and we will put you on our member's list and add your field trip to our calendar!

Note:  Your club can pick a future month that does not have a DMC trip scheduled or a non conflicting field trip date in a month that already has a DMC trip (subject to approval). One trip a month is preferred but sometimes a special location can only be scheduled during a particular date.  We will try to be flexible!
