reasonable prices!

A very busy booth!
(Notice all the collectors sitting on the floor)
(MUCH better access to all those flats under the tables)

To All of our Friends in the Society:

Thank you all very much for allowing your show to be part of our “Farewell Tour 2002,’ May 10-12, 2002. The huge amount of effort extended by the members to arrange and conduct your show is evident by the customer’s attendance and enjoyment. For us to have been included in this endeavor for 25 years is quite humbling and deemed a sincere privilege.

Wow!!!! (Let’s just say it again—WOW!!!) We came into the show this year with the knowledge that last year’s record totals were achieved through the sale of two very large specimens that we had nothing to compare with this year.  We had initially hoped that we could equal 2001 totals this year MINUS these large sales. Then Friday happened, not to mention Saturday!  We were pleased to report sales figures for 2002 that are 50% more than last year!!  Are our hands tired from writing invoices? YES!  But, what a wonderful way to go. And, most importantly, this tremendous overall sales total was due to the incredible support from GMS members.
It is you who made this our most memorable year with your show, both in dollar totals and in memories.
As we continue on with new adventures after the Liquidation Auction in September 2003, we will finally get to enjoy the actual hobby of collecting minerals.  All of us plan to jump on the Harleys every now and then and attend a show where we are least expected.  We know we will be able to continue our cherished friendships with you all for many years to come.

Fondly,

THE ROCKSMITHS, INC.
