TUCSON GEM & MINERAL SHOWS
Westward Look Resort Mineral Show
5 STAR SHOW
    [2004]

[2007]  Exotic, super high end mineral show at the exclusive Westward Look resort.  There were only 24 dealers spread 6 to each of the four buildings in the foreground.  This is where the BIG collectors (aka-"ROCK GODS") and museums come to buy!!!  I watched Bill Larson pull out one museum quality specimen after another to show a first time show visitor just how perfect God has made these (his) crystals.  (I have a bunch of xtls that God made some mistakes on!)  Yet, it was a totally wonderful experience to see a picture of a world class crystal and Bill holding the actual specimen next to it's picture.

At each building entryway there was a list of the dealers and their room numbers.

Some of the more "affordable" miniature specimens at this show.
I did see someone purchase one of these miniatures at a fairly ?reasonable? price and I also saw a collector make a $4,000.00 purchase of a copper specimen from the Keweenaw peninsula in Michigan.  It was a nicely crystallized, less than foot tall, copper specimen.
